Whether a start-up concept seems crazy or an obvious solution, the only thing that matters is the teams ability to execute on it.
We’ve noticed a trend when speaking with angel investors and early stage venture capital firms.
They were receiving upwards of one hundred applicants per month for funding and while the majority of those could be discarded as not relevant, choosing which to fund became a question of which founder(s) they felt would be intelligent and grounded enough to make decisions that were best for the company on a day to day basis.
In learning this, we recognized that we were in an ideal position to provide value to both the investors and the entrepreneurs.
With that in mind, we created Smarter Seed.
Simply reach out to us by email and tell us what you are working on. We will take a cursory look and evaluate whether we can
provide significant value. If we feel the model has merit and the team is focused on the same realistic goal, we will offer to work together to incubate the venture, building a minimum viable product and testing it in the real market. Once prepared , we will present the venture back to you or in the case of our fellow entrepreneurs, present it to relevant investors in our network.
In many cases, at the request of the investors and the founding team, we stay on in an advisory role for the life of the venture. |
